THE PERSON

Mary Kourbet Al-Akhras, known as Myrna in her family is born in 1964, from Greek-Catholic father and a Greek-Orthodox mother. Normal childhood. She has never had any serious sickness nor accident. She studies in Christian schools, Catholic or Orthodox, also in government schools. Average intellectual level. She leaves school a year before completing the unified Syrian baccalaureate diploma. Religious knowledge very elementary. Of jovial character, she marries Nicolas Nazzour, a Greek-Orthodox, mid-May 1982, six months before the start of the phenomenon on Saturday, November 27th, 1982, on the eve of the first Sunday of Advent.
